George Fouche & Dare to Aspire
Burnt Oak were luckily enough to be visited by George Fouche. George was born in King Williams town, South Africa. He is the third generation of international professional rugby players whose career spanned 14 years. In 1999 he left South Africa for the UK but soon into his stay a horrific neck break (which would have brought most peoples playing careers to an end) led to a renewed motivation to make a comeback and he enjoyed a very lucky 7 years in the English Premiership and the Heineken Cup. George now spends the majority of his time racing all over the UK in every type of school and institution imaginable delivering his acclaimed shows and workshops sharing his story as an example that dreams can always be fulfilled, everyone possesses the ten key characteristics to being successful and resilience can be learned. George is the UK’s number ONE educational aspirational speaker.
Children in year 4,5 and 6 were fortunate able to complete a workshop with George focusing on the Ten key characteristics.
The Ten Key characteristics to being successful are:
Drive
Discipline
Self confidence
Competitiveness
Focus
Commitment
Time management
Determination

Emotional maturity
