Burnt Oak Primary School

Sports

Night of Champions

Burnt Oak who were seeded first after the Mini Youth Games for Tag Rugby played three very tough games against three tough teams. First Burnt Oak played Maundene School in a closely contested match and finished the winners 9-7. There second game was against Swingate primary and this finished 8-3, the score didn't reflect how well both team played. Finally in the final Burnt Oak beat Bryony finishing ahead 6-4 in a nail-biting competition. The children should be incredibly proud of finishing the season unbeaten as they played some fantastic teams. Mr DBS said " Thanks to all the parents who supported this year and children that attended Tag Rugby  throughout the year, I am very proud of everyone and to be part of Burnt Oak."

Girls Football Tournament

Well done to the girls team. They won all of their matches apart from one, which they drew 1-1. Behaved fantastically and played really really well. They all showed respect to the other teams and the ref.
